Information about the shoot
Many photographers offer set times for their photo shoots – and you can feel like the timer is on and ticking. While I work very quickly my overriding aim is to get a product you are very happy with; that will get you the work you want.I have a small informal studio in the centre of Hebden Bridge, but can also offer a back drop of brick walls, streets, canal banks, wooded river valleys and the moors of the South Pennines as locations. Or I can come to you.
I prefer to work with natural light but as this isn’t always possible I also work with portable studio lights.
Achieving YOUR look
Naturally you have an idea of what you want your ‘look’ to be and you want to look good. Try to do all the things that help naturally to reduce your need for make-up, concealer and post-shoot editing!
For headshots, bring a couple of changes of tops, keeping necklines and colours simple, and keep accessories and make-up to a minimum.
For character work, portfolio shots and musicians –
you know
the image you want to portray so come with all your costumes, props
and
accessories! I can arrange a hair stylist/make-up artist if you require.
